1) advantages of using the ERP system: saving money, saving time, enhancing productivity, easier-to-manage day to day activities, more open and available flow of information to different departments and parts of the organization, as well as advances in the company’s strategic planning. disadvantages of using the ERP system: employees feeling watched or pressured as the information from their department is openly available, issues of security with specific information as it is now available to many more individuals, as well its undershot creation of ROI or the overall result of using the ERP systems and the expectations that come along with it and its pricetag.

2)If I was the chief information officer of a large company I would recomment implementation of the ERP system. Although it can become rather expensive, the uses and abilities it creates are endless and can be extremely valuable when used efficiently and correctly

3)A small business can avoid just another ERP fail by using the information given and at hand efficiently and delicately
